Local authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who placed a child in danger while fleeing from a traffic stop in Ocala.
According to the Ocala Police Department, the man was riding a dirt bike in the area of NW Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and State Road 40 when he fled from OPD officers who were attempting to conduct a traffic stop.
Upon reviewing surveillance cameras in the area, OPD stated that officers learned a startling detail: a small child was also on the dirt bike.
