City looking for volunteers to serve on boards, advisory committees

The City of Ocala is currently accepting applications for multiple committee and advisory board positions within the city government.

The Ocala City Council appoints individuals to serve on over 20 boards, advisory committees, and commissions. These volunteers come from all across Ocala, and they help influence decisions that affect the city by providing advice and feedback to the city’s leaders and council members.

The term length for positions varies by the committee or advisory board. Many of the boards have requirements, such as residing within the city limits, being a qualified city voter, or owning real property within the city limits.

To view the current vacancies, or to apply, visit the City of Ocala’s Boards and Commissions webpage.
