A new apartment complex under construction will bring dozens of additional multi-family units to downtown Ocala when it opens.
The Lamplighter Legacy Apartments are taking shape at the intersection of SE 3rd Avenue and SE 8th Street, at 900 SE 3rd Avenue in downtown Ocala.
The apartment complex will feature studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom floor plans.
All units will be equipped with walk-in closets, stainless steel appliances, and shaker-style cabinetry, among other features.
Amenities at the complex will include a fitness center, pool, sun deck, picnic zones with charcoal grills, and electric vehicle charging stations.
The project was approved by the city in 2021 and has undergone rapid development over the past year.
The residential development joins dozens others in various stages of development all across Ocala and Marion County.
Canter began moving residents into its new Ocala complex at 4820 48th Avenue at the beginning of August.
The Retreat at 42nd, a 268-unit luxury apartment complex, also celebrated its grand opening in August.
Aurora St. Leon Apartment Homes opened across from the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park in mid-August as well.
