1932-2024

The family of Lee Boivin is sad to announce his passing on March 8, 2024 at his home with his loving spouse Willene by his side. He leaves behind his daughter Denise, nephew Michael, and niece Melissa.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1932, Lee served his country in the Navy Reserve from 1948 to 1949 and then proudly as a paratrooper in the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division from 1950 to 1953.

After military service, Lee joined the Fayetteville, NC Police Department from 1954 to 1957, embodying integrity, bravery, and selflessness.

He ventured into health and nutrition, owning a store from 1960 to 1963, and then established Lee’s Gym in 1963, dedicating over 25 years to promoting physical fitness and helping others achieve their health goals. Lee transitioned to personal training until his retirement in 2013, positively impacting countless lives.

There will be a Military Funeral Service on Sunday, May 26 that 12:15 pm, located at St. John’s Church of Cotton Plant: 12390 W. Hwy 328 Ocala, FL 34482.
